It must be noted, however, that this statistical analysis is done exclusively on b o o k s . Therefore, we cannot apply these figures and percentages directly to all materials because there are many publications put out in the form of pamphlets and magazines, also PR activities have become more active since the w a r .

As w e have already seen in the process of compiling w h i t e papers, corporate publications involve many people in planning, compiling, editing and publishing. The number of people involved and the procedure followed for each publication v a r i e s , but in general a group of several people from the section concerned, or in some cases the whole division, w o r k on producing the information. They collect data produced by other interested parties, departments, bureaus and even other related ministries and agencies and examine it.

They are responsible for planning and executing the public relations aspect of the Government's p o l i c y .
